Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a pipeline consisting of 40-60 loans on a daily and weekly basis.
- Manage the loan processing lifecycle from application to closing, which includes:
- Collecting and evaluating documentation for submission to Underwriting.
- Clearly communicating expectations and requirements regarding loan programs.
- Prioritizing daily tasks to meet closing deadlines efficiently.
- Ordering necessary verifications and documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and timelines.
- Verifying approval conditions, addressing routine title issues, and resolving queries related to customer income/assets documentation.
- Delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Maintaining designated customer service survey ratings as set by management.
- Keeping all parties involved in the transaction informed and up to date.
- Reviewing and interpreting all necessary documentation with accuracy.
- Analyzing applicant information, property data, and documentation in accordance with company policies.
- Accurately calculating borrower income for various employment types.
- Demonstrating a thorough understanding of credit underwriting guidelines.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial Services, with a focus on Loan Processing preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
- Excellent customer service aptitude and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Proven ability to work in a paperless environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours when required.
- Ability to obtain NMLS-MLO Licenses preferred.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of mortgage loan processing experience is required.
- High-volume loan processing experience is preferred.
